Incoloy 800H bars are high-performance nickel-iron-chromium superalloy bars, specifically engineered for extreme thermal stability and mechanical resilience in demanding industrial environments. Designed for high-temperature applications, these bars provide exceptional creep resistance, oxidation resistance, and carburization resistance, making them ideal for use in boilers, power plants, and other critical thermal processing systems.
Superior Creep Rupture Strength
Incoloy 800H achieves 10,000-hour rupture life at 800°C/35 MPa, outperforming standard Incoloy 800 by 40%, ensuring reliability in high-temperature applications.
Oxidation and Carburization Resistance
With a dual-layer oxide scale (Cr₂O₃-Al₂O₃) that minimizes oxidation rates to <0.1 g/m²·h at 900°C in air, and a carbon penetration of <0.5 mm after 20,000 hours in hydrocarbon atmospheres, Incoloy 800H offers exceptional protection against harsh operating conditions.
Thermal Fatigue Resistance
With a low thermal expansion coefficient (14.5 μm/m·°C from 20–600°C), the alloy minimizes stress during cyclic heating, extending the lifespan of components.
Phase Stability and Weldability
Incoloy 800H maintains its phase stability (no sigma-phase formation) even after 15,000 hours at 850°C. It is also compatible with TIG and laser welding using AWS A5.14 ERNiCr-3 filler.
