GH2747, GH747, and Nimonic80A are high-performance nickel-based alloys specifically designed for use in high-temperature applications such as aircraft engine rotors, gas turbines, and other critical aerospace components. The manufacturing process of GH2747, GH747, and Nimonic80A alloys involves several stages to ensure the final product meets the rigorous demands of high-temperature applications:
Melting: High-purity raw materials are melted in an electric arc or induction furnace. The molten metal is refined to remove impurities and achieve the desired chemical composition.
Casting: The alloy is cast into ingots. These ingots are then heat-treated to homogenize the material and eliminate segregation.
Forging: The ingots are hot-forged at temperatures above 1100°C, which refines the microstructure and improves the mechanical properties of the alloy.
Hot Rolling: After forging, the material is hot-rolled to reduce thickness and achieve the required final dimensions.
Annealing: The rolled bars are annealed at temperatures between 900-950°C to relieve internal stresses and improve ductility.
Finishing: The final step involves cutting the bars to the required lengths and applying necessary surface treatments, such as grinding or polishing, to protect the alloy from environmental factors.

Yes, we offer free samples for testing purposes. However, the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs.
