Manufacturing Process
Melting
The process starts by melting high-purity raw materials in an electric arc or induction furnace. This ensures the production of a clean and consistent alloy with the desired chemical composition.
Casting
Once melted, the alloy is cast into ingots. These ingots undergo homogenization heat treatment to eliminate segregation and achieve uniformity in structure.
Forging
The ingots are then hot-forged at temperatures exceeding 1100°C. This step refines the microstructure, improving the mechanical properties and enhancing strength.
Hot Rolling
The forged material undergoes hot rolling to reduce its thickness and achieve the desired dimensions. The rolling process also improves the alloy’s directional properties.
Annealing
The rolled bars are annealed to relieve internal stresses, enhancing ductility and preparing the material for further machining.
Finishing
Finally, the bars are cut to the required length, and surface treatments, such as grinding, polishing, or coating, are applied to improve performance and protect against environmental factors.
