Manufacturing Process of GH3030 Alloy Bar
Melting: High-purity raw materials are melted in an electric arc or induction furnace. The molten metal is refined to remove impurities and achieve the desired chemical composition.
Casting: The refined molten metal is cast into ingots. A homogenization heat treatment is applied to enhance the material’s uniformity and eliminate segregation.
Forging: The ingots are hot-forged above 1100°C to achieve the desired shape, which refines the microstructure and improves mechanical properties.
Hot Rolling: After forging, the material is hot-rolled to the final dimensions of the bars. This process improves the alloy’s directional properties.
Annealing: The rolled bars are annealed at temperatures between 900°C and 950°C to relieve internal stresses and enhance ductility.
Finishing: Finally, the bars are cut to specified lengths and subjected to surface treatments such as grinding, polishing, or coating for enhanced protection.
